He has climbed mountains in search of indigenous ingredients in Peru for WSJ. The Wall Street Journal Magazine, where he's a contributing editor, trucked around North America with a wandering chef for GQ and eaten his way across Singapore for Travel + Leisure. His writing has also appeared in Conde Nast Traveler, Departures, Esquire, Wired and in the anthology Best Food Writing 2016. His first book, Sneakers, will be published this Fall.
