Tarajia Morrell is a writer and New York City native who grew up at the table. Tarajia writes for WSJ. The Wall Street Journal Magazine, Conde Nast Traveler, Saveur and other publications, and is the author of food blog, The Lovage. Leaving the family food and wine businesses to pursue acting in her twenties, Tarajia made a living working as a waitress in restaurants before committing professionally to her love of food and words as a writer. She is drawn to strong characters who communicate their passion and sensitivity through culinary careers, and is ever-reverent to the endless creativity expressed by food and wine.
In October 2016, Tarajia began a series of dinners co-hosted by chefs and wine aficionados called Morrell Salon, which Prince Street supports in keeping with their commitment to inspirational food stories.
